My first police station visit.

After dinner, mom dropped me off to Strawberry Field to meet my ex-classmates and to bid farewell to Qi Wen. I got down from the car and said 'Hi' wanting to hug the girls. I took a step in front and I heard a loud bang coming from my back. It took me awhile to process where was that sound coming from. I turned back and I saw my mom coming down from the car. I ran towards her and I saw that the right side of the car was dented, scratch and the signal lights cover dropped off.

That old looking man in his 60s and his wife came down, looked at his car-the passenger door was dented in. Mom started to shout at that driver, the old man shouted back. Both arguing back and forth and both not admitting whose fault it is. My friends came over and some helped to shout back at the old man. I couldn't think straight, I was so mad but I just can't say anything back to him. Schew Ee asked me to take down his car plate number but I took out my camera and snapped everything :p His daughter in the car was pissed I guess, she mumbled something about "reporter".

It does looks like mom was in fault but what happen was mom drove straight and that old man, speeded and took a left turn without seeing mom's car on his left. And he blamed that mom didn't look on her right before moving out. He asked mom to pay a total of RM500 but mom said that she wouldn't pay him back and asked him to claim his own insurance. Since it can't be settled, we went to the police station.

We waited for 50minutes before it was our turn. There's only ONE traffic counter and a few general report counters. I was super pissed while waiting, pissed at the system, pissed at the old man, pissed at his wife, pissed cause we were suppose to sell my brother's car this month and pissed cause I missed the gathering.

The old man was sitting in front of us and he said, "you know ma'm, if you'd just pay me 500, you don't have to go through these". Mom replied, "I rather get a summon. I have lots of mechanic friends and I can send your car for a repair. But 500? I wouldn't pay you" He ignored mom after that.

5044, I think thats the number. We wrote a report and handed it over to the policeman. He asked me, "Do you know how to use the computer?" I said yes and he asked me to type everything for him. I laughed and in my head I thought, what a joke. After I finished typing and verifying, we met the sergeant, sergeant Roslan-a pretty nice guy. Mom told him what happened and we went to Taipan, showing him exactly how the accident happened.

It took us two hours to get everything done. Its so time consuming, the policeman asked ME to type for HIM and the system is really bad-there's only one traffic police and five at the other general cases counters doing NOTHING. The police station @ USJ in so HUGE yet it took us so long to report the case. Seriously, Malaysia Boleh.
